The Labone Senior High School held its 49th Annual Speech and Prize Giving Day at the forecourt of the school this past Saturday December 1. The event was attended by most of the heads of sister schools and it was a tremendous success. Awards ranging from cash prices, Laptops, Radios, Refrigerators, and many other electronic devices were received by excellent students in form two and three, as well as deserving staff of the school.
The event has always been sponsored by Labone Old Students Association (LOSA), and this year was no exception. LOSA 98, headed by Mr Charles Sam Crabbe (President) and Mrs Juliet Naa Ameley Aryeequaye (Organizing secretary), played a very key role, and among other things, contracted one of the finest website designers in the country to build a beautiful, informative and educative website for the school. They also donated cash prizes to the best students in the various departments, summing up to thousands of Ghana cedis.
We thank everyone for attending, especially the Honourable Minister for Information and all invited guests.
We pray for more years ahead to honour our industrious students and teachers and encourage everyone to work hard for a better future.
